What our students and alumni have to say about Be'er Hagolah: SCHOOL There is one school, It’s Be’er Hagolah, the #1 school,
A SHABBOS AT HOME One Shabbos I thought I wanted to do a big Mitzvah, so I was thinking it’s Shabbos today. My mother doesn’t keep Shabbos but, I try very hard to keep Shabbos because it is a very big Mitzvah. So me and my little sister went in the kitchen and I took a look at the time. I said to my sister go dress up for Shabbos. I lit the candles and me and my sister said the Brocha. And that’s how I got to know what Shabbos is all about. I love Shabbos because you are doing a big Mitzvah.
MY STORY ABOUT HASHEM It happened a few weeks ago. My mother wanted me to go to public school and I didn’t want to go. My mother insisted that I should go. I didn’t know what to do so every night I davened to Hashem. I didn’t know Shema Yisroel so I said it in English. We had to go and take my shots for school and the principal told my father that in public school children smoke and don’t talk nice. My father came home and told my mother she should never send me to public school. He said that Be’er Hagolah is much better than public school. After that I felt that was the most biggest miracle of my life. I knew that that was something that Hashem had done for me. From now I always say Shema Yisroel when I go to sleep and it really helps.
A student speaks: “I was very scared when my mother said that I’m going to register in a new school, but when we came, the lady we saw was so nice. She smiled and was so friendly. They took me to a special class where I will learn Hebrew and Alef Beis with other friends who also need to learn Hebrew, so I don’t have to be embarrassed that I don’t understand because I come from public school.” “I also had Art. Tomorrow we are having a Siddur party and I can’t read the Siddur by myself yet, but I will take special care of my Siddur because teacher said that very soon I will be able to read. My big brother is learning to pray too. He wants to be part of the special Minyan that prays before class every morning in the big shul. Next year he is going to college so his teachers are teaching him many things, architecture, calculus, physics (I think that is how they are called).” “Next week I am going to be absent because I am having a bris and I will get a Jewish name.” From a Parent:
